The blank was developed to provide excellent casting properties coupled with unrivalled fish playing abilities. The SLR carbon carp will distribute the load through the entire rod whilst maintaining enough control power to tame the largest of carp. A comfortable rubber 'Body Load' butt cap has also been added for playing those 'larger than normal' fish where the rod butt needs to be positioned onto the body to play the fish. The C6 lightweight ceramic guides provide exceptional line support resulting in a controlled curve under load when carp runs or lunges are encountered. This provides a cushioning effect through the tip. A 2 piece EVA handle has been arranged to provide the best ergonomic casting position whilst the one piece custom moulded reel seat will hold your reel firmly in place with the brushed alloy screw adjuster. The Hunter Pro® 3.6m SLR Carbon Carp is a serious specimen hunter’s rod which will outperform many other rods of more than twice the price but more importantly outperform the largest carp.
